Family portrait sessions are the perfect way to capture the beautiful bonds between those you love most. Family portrait packages include 60 minutes of shooting time in the studio or a local, outdoor setting of your choice. Family sessions can take place in the hour before sunset, or “golden hour”, to provide for the most flattering lighting or even during the day on a woodland walk. These sessions provide clients with a varied gallery of both posed and candid shots that you can cherish for years to come.
Things to consider when planning for your family portrait session:
Coordinating your clothing for family members is an important part of making your images cohesive and beautiful. Many families find it helpful to choose two or three colours that compliment one an other. The use of accessories and clothing items that correlate with your chosen colour scheme should also be considered. Not sure which colours to choose? If you plan to hang your images in your home then consider choosing colours that will compliment your home decor!
It is always suggested that clients avoid clothing with large logos, writing, neon colours or other pictures as they can be distracting in the portraits or can cause colour casting.
